DEATH – OURS, AS A SHAMAN
How to make her an ally, a friend and be at peace with her
Hello, beautiful souls on the way,
Today, with immense joy, we announce this extraordinary event, which will take place in Spresiano (TV), on September 22 with Chamane G'iò.
Joanna and Barbara

The fear of our death, that of our loved ones, difficult mourning, anguish and denial, are certainly what raises the most questions and fears. However, it is certain, one day we will meet her.
For us shamans, death completes a stage of our journey that began at birth, but in no way is it something negative or something we should try to avoid eternally. The day will come when we will prepare ourselves and, for us shamans, this preparation begins as soon as possible. This is a critical step in our journey and also one that we often prepare our consultants for and help them overcome.
Coming into contact with death is also celebrating life! This allows us to improve our presence in the world, to grasp its precious, unique and sacred dimension, and to have the possibility of living it with happiness, joy and serenity. The inevitable trials that life presents us then take on their true meaning and are no longer experienced with discouragement. Then there is the possibility of accessing this happiness accessible to all, or even of reaching enlightenment which is the ultimate goal of all life.

How does the ceremony go?
The shamanic ceremony lasts a whole day
There are several steps:
First, we take the time to take stock of each person's situation and become aware of our current relationship with death. There is no taboo, each participant has a secure space to express or raise awareness of their current relationship with death. Is there expressed or hidden fear? An illness, a difficult separation, a bereavement or a loved one, a life partner, who started the journey? There may be questions we wish to express. For now, the questions arise, but the answers will come later.
First ritual, we go to meet our allies and the spirits specializing in death. They are essential and have been with us since birth, so let's get to know each other and ask for their advice and protection.
Next comes the preparation for the main ceremony. Here we put in place the protections and the “contract” with ourselves. This step ensures that everything will be fine and our trip will be safe and peaceful.

And then we are ready for the ceremony. Without giving too much away, it's about going towards death, our own death, and discovering and experiencing what lies behind this mysterious scene. Nothing morbid (😊!) or terrible! It is an initiation ritual that awaits each shaman and from which he returns transformed, more luminous and more awake. Even more alive! It is a journey that allows us to give our life its unique, sacred and magnificent dimension and which leaves us with intense and lasting energy and light over time. It is a real door to the happiness of living and being present in the world.
We conclude the ceremony with the sharing of lived experiences and the opportunity to answer the first questions.
After the ceremony, everyone will have the opportunity to have a private consultation with me.
I hope to have the pleasure of sharing this beautiful ceremony with you and modestly contributing, under the direction of spirits specialized in death, to making your life happier.

Who is this ceremony for?
For anyone who has already started a shamanic journey and feels comfortable traveling. This ceremony cannot be your first journey, so it is necessary to already have some shamanic experience, even recent.
Furthermore, the ceremony is open to all those who wonder about death or who wish to improve, deepen, their relationship with “it”. For all sorts of reasons, they are all valid and welcome. Difficult mourning, support for a loved one, person or animal, at the end of life, questions or fears about one's own end... it is a great opportunity to address all these situations and to tame the encounter with the One who gives us everyone waits.
It is a fundamental ceremony in every shaman's journey.

Who am I?
My name is G'iò (Giovanni Pascalicchio).
You are here on my site and you can consult my page to find out more about my journey and my shamanic practice.
I live part of the year in Switzerland and part of the year in Hawaii. My shamanic practice was initiated with the spirits of bees, who opened the way for me through a magnificent encounter with them. Then I met many other spirits, who come to participate in the journeys.
And travel is central to my practice, even in this world of ordinary reality. Since there no longer exists an ancestral shamanic tradition in Europe, I decided to meet other traditions which gradually opened the doors to the world of spirits for me.
In Hawaii, on the big volcanic island, I practice and study the Hawaiian shamanic tradition (Huna). In the Swiss mountains I work with bees and also in connection with other shamanic traditions. And now in Italy? The land of my ancestors and the playground of my childhood.

My shamanic practice combines the influences encountered during my travels and studies: North America (Lakota), South America (Amazonia, Peru, Chile), as well as ancient Greek tradition. I followed the training provided by the FSS founded by Michael Harner.
And today I have the immense pleasure and honor of discovering the Siberian tradition proposed by Joanna.
Why all these traditions? Because they are very complementary and have a lot in common. Because they are also the doors to the spirit world. The more doors we open, the more beautiful it is and the better we see? And because, like any shaman, it is my path and it opens before me.
I hope our paths cross soon, meeting the spirits and the light on our lives.
